The Royal Cornwall Polytechnic Society (RCPS) 2011-2014

The RCPS is better known as "The Poly" to the locals of Falmouth, UK. The aim  of the arts centre is to promote innovation in the arts and sciences particularly with focus on Cornwall and was established in 1833. It showcases a wide range of performances from theatre, music, arthouse film screenings, comedy and exhibitions.

 

 

My  role:

  • Fire marshal

  • Box office

  • Lighting assistant

  • Bar

I was impressed from the first moment I met Christina as she brought a great spirit of welcome and I quickly discovered that she was reliable, skilled and flexible. If I was duty manager for a difficult show that spilled out into different locations it was always a relief to know that Christina was on duty.  I began to ask that she was a volunteer if I knew we had a troublesome evening ahead" Charles Savage (former Director)
